The Art In Motion Story
Art in Motion was established in 2001 and has touched the lives of thousands of dancers over the years. Art In Motion's number one goal is to build self esteem and confidence in all students through multiple disciplines of dance. We focus not only on dance technique but also exuding compassion and kindness for others. We aim to stimulate the mind, challenge the body and help you to discover your inner dancer. Our classes are engaging, effective, and designed for both those who seek a career in dance or are looking for the perfect form of exercise. Come dance with us to explore a new world of motion and emotion and get to know yourself in a whole new way.

MeKayla Steeples
She is known as "Miss Katy" to her students and established Art In Motion in 2001. Steeples dance instruction began in 1979 under Carol Tuttle, who was a mentor to Steeples growing up. She was then given the opportunity to travel the United States and teach at numerous Universities for the National Dance Association. Then she traveled to Hollywood, CA when she accepted an Edge PAC Scholarship. She has earned numerous competition and choreography awards throughout her 30 years of teaching.

Molly Hertiage
Molly began her dance career at Art In Motion in 2001, winning many group and soloist awards. She was team captain and three-year member of the Sapulpa Ping Pings, as well as an All-Star Power tumbler for five years. While at Art In Motion, Molly as be awarded many choreography awards. Molly has also been the Head Coach for the Sapulpa Ping Pings for the past several years, she was named OSDTDA coach of the year in 2022, and has led the Sapulpa Ping Pings to many state and national championships.

Evie Walling
Evie began her dancing career at Art In Motion in 2008. In her 12 years of competing she won many group and soloist awards. She was a 4 year member of the Sapulpa Ping Pings where she won 13 state titles, 4 national titles, and 3 grand champion titles. She is excited to continue her journey at Art In Motion, choreographic and teaching students and sharing her passion for dance.

Abby Hertiage
Abby Hertiage began her dancing journey when she was 9 years old at Art In Motion. After her first class, she knew dancing was her passion! She was a member of the Sapulpa Ping Pings where she served as Co-Captain her junior year and Captain her senior year. She was also a member of the UCO Pom Team! Now that she is an AIM alumni, she is so excited to be back where it all started. She can't wait to teach all your amazing children!
